When do they check if baby is in birthing position?

At my 22 week anatomy scan my baby was heads up. I am 35 weeks pregnant now and wondering when do they check if baby is heads down? I’m hoping it’s before birth

I’m 37+3 and have not been checked for dilation or told my son’s position. My ob is very nice but EVERY LAST TIME I bring something up to her she immediately tells me to drink more water…MS. CINDY HOW FUCKIN MUCH MORE CAN I DRRIINNINKKKKK😠😤😤😤

They gave me an ultrasound at 32 weeks to see if baby was in position and growing good, then they did another at 36 weeks to make sure he was in position again

They should be able to feel that the baby is head down by touching your stomach and feeling around your pelvic bone. Where can you feel his or her hiccups the most? I know their whole body moves but I can tell where his head is especially when he gets hiccups lol

I just switched to a midwife at 32 weeks and at both my 32 week app and my 34 week one they felt around for baby’s position. My OB never did prior. Not all OBs are well trained on how to feel for baby’s position from what I’ve been told so that may be part of it, or they felt and because baby is head down and it’s not a cause for concern then they didn’t think to mention it. I would think by this point they would want to know

When I was breach, they told me they'd check for it again at 36 weeks. I've had another ultrasound at 32 weeks and we were head down and then at 34 weeks they did a cervix check (because of symptoms I'm having) and she said she could feel the head (yes I was dilated)

I'd ask your ob about it. They checked with an ultrasound at 32 weeks with me this time around and she was head down. Then at my last appointment at 36 weeks, he used his hands on the outside of my belly to check to make sure she's still head down. And then he checked my cervix too to see if I am dilated any.

Typically at 36 weeks they will check your cervix if you’re wanting that and they should be able to tell by that. If not I’m sure they will do an ultrasound sometime soon. I would ask your OB !!
