Nervous husband is going to miss the birth

I’m 36+3 today, and my husband is still working obviously. The only thing is he works on a mine site 6hrs away from home, he does 1 week there 1 week at home. He’s taken 5 weeks off but that time doesn’t start until March 15 - I’m due March 18. He has his own truck and can leave work at any time if I go into labour, but this is my second baby and I’m so worried that I’m going to go early and he won’t make it home on time. And that I won’t have anybody to take care of my son - my in laws are flying to my state to care for him but not arriving until March 10. I had my son on his due date exactly, so hoping this one is the same or even a bit over 🤞🏼 has anyones partner missed their birth?
