how soon can you feel head lice ?

i went to get my eyebrows waxed yesterday and to move my hair out of my face the man put those big clips on the side of my head .. and now i’m paranoid i could’ve got head lice bc i doubt they clean them after each person it’s used on. so my question is how soon can you feel itchy from head lice can it happen a day later because i’m making myself so paranoid and it’s only the next day.

EDIT NAIL SALON i know hair salons have that solution they put tools in but i did not see this at the nail salon
