Does this sound like autism?

My 2 year olds pediatrician brought it up saying it would be good to look for signs of autism since she is behind in speech (she is in speech therapy and her speech therapist is very happy with her progression since we started 3 months ago.. she really has improved a lot). She doesn’t say much but understands well. She babbles all the time and is good at asking what she wants without words. She signs some words. She does do some repetitive behavior. But those are the only possible signs I’m seeing, the speech delay and repeat I’ve behavior

She loves people and does great socially for not saying many words. She is good with recognizing emotions and great with eye contact and copying others. She laughs when others laugh, copies facial expressions, super cautious of things that could be dangerous, has responded to her name from early on, definitely prefers to play with others than by herself. But she can do good with that too. Loves going to social events, and pretend plays with others and by herself. Waves bye to people. Loves affection and is always kissing us and loves cuddling

I never thought she had autism even tho I knew speech delay could be a sign. Her dr did say later in the appt she is making good eye contact with her and we would know better than her but she thought she’d put it out there since it is a long wait list to be evaluated

I guess I’m not sure what to think? I’m not super familiar with autism (does not run in either side of the family either) so I’m just going off of google what signs are I guess? I would of course want to do what we can to help with that, I just really don’t think she has it but I guess wondering what others thoughts are on the situation
