Nervous but ready

Well this week was my last period! I have endometriosis, have given birth to three beautiful boys and have had one miscarriage. So my doctor will be giving me a hysterectomy. She is going to take out everything but my ovaries since I'm so young.

Finally a doctor who is going to do what i want and finally give me relief from the pain of endometriosis! I'm nervous but so ready!

Update: I had my hysterectomy on Monday! I know this pain is only temporary but good lord does it hurt. I also learned some very interesting and shocking things.

TMI warning: when my surgery was over I was completely out of it. I felt so bloated and very sore! I was informed on Tuesday that prior to the procedure, they had to shoot air into my rectum.... Which was freaky to learn. But they also informed me that my endometriosis was on my rectum, which explains why I have always had excruciating pain during bowel movements. They made a total of 4 incisions in my abdomen because my procedure was minimally invasive. After having three beautiful boys and one angel baby I'm glad I got the procedure. Just so ready for this temporary pain to over.
