13 weeks, nervous to stop taking progesterone

Did anyone else get prescribed oral progesterone for low progesterone during pregnancy? I’ve been taking 400mg daily for the past 9 weeks. They told me I could stop once I get to 13 weeks but do I have to?😅 they said the placenta will take over at this point but what if my placenta doesn’t produce enough progesterone and it gets low again? I’m super nervous because I had a miscarriage 10 months ago due to low progesterone and lost my baby right after I stopped the medicine. Can I request to take it a little bit longer or at least request regular blood work to check my levels? I really don’t want to lose my baby
