Would you tell you husband/bf if a coworker is trying to hit u up?

A coworker has been sending me emails asking how my day was, what im doing this weekend, even asked if i was married and if i had any kids, he even asked if i had FB to which i said no when I actually do. Anyways, I replied to all of those emails because we have constant work communication so i dont wanna act all rude or trying to avoid him. I have absolutely no interest but would u tell your husband or boyfriend if someone at work is trying to hit u up?

Stop interacting with this person if it's not work related. If he ever asks you about it simply say "I don't reply to messages about my personal like, I think it's really innapropiate, plus I have no interest." I ALWAYS bring up things like this to my hun and so does he "He who has nothing to hide, hides nothing." If anything, we have such great conversation because of our safe space. If I bring anything up he knows I don't come with a hidden agenda, and I always know he won't get mad at me or project insecurities to make me me feel guilty.

Set boundaries with your coworker. He clearly doesn’t know you’re married. And yes, why wouldn’t you mention it to your partner?

Flip it the other way around. If your boyfriend/husband had a coworker thats was doung all this and you boyfriend/husband responded to all of it and did mot tell you, how would you feel and/or react to it? If youre having to ask us if you should tell him, then you already feel like you should. You should also put that coworker firmly back in a coworker's place. Stop responding to personal emails and make it clear you have an SO and any communication going forward needs to be strictly at work, about work.

At some point there had to be a situation where he might have thought you guys could be “friends” and took total advantage of it. If you’re not wanting to have a friendship with this person and only be a profesional one I would stop answering any emails that aren’t work related, he’ll get the message. I wouldn’t personally tell my husband until I’m 100% sure or something precisely is said such as “can I take you to lunch/drink” for example. You want to be very sure before you bring something like this to your spouse, or this person could feel as you miss interpreted “his kindness” and create a whole-nother satuation. I’m juts being the devils advocate as I see it from my point of view.

I’d consider it sneaky if some girl was clearly trying to get with my husband and he hid it from me, ESPECIALLY if he didn’t put a stop to it by setting clear boundaries.

I have never, unless it was significant. We worked at thesame company, he knows I chat with people, even with people he doesn't like. It's been nothing but friendly, a little cheeky maybe but never ill intended or disrespectful towards any of the partners.
I would think sending an e-mail is weird tbh. That is really going out of their way, but in person or in teams or skype or a chat box, sure 🤷‍♀️ that's a bit more informal.
But if you don't like it or you feel it's crossing boundaries then you should definitely inform this person about that.
