Cheating.. can you forgive and move on together?

I’m in a situation where we have three beautiful boys. (2 and a half, 1 and two months old) I found out about a week ago that he my SO was cheating on me. Not physically.. that I know of. But messaging random women for attention but I found one women that he was messaging for over a year on Snapchat. I only know because I ended going through his phone because I felt something was extremely wrong and it’s been like this for over a year but I now felt the sense to check.

I found out that he was messaging one women for over a year because he saved all the pictures she sent him on Snapchat. And I read messages for the previous day talking about sexual acts and he reply’s and then she puts I miss you and I want to see you and he says me too and when. But she says you know I can’t see you but I wish. She lives about 5 hours away. He started talking to her about a couple months before my second son was born and hasn’t stopped till I found out.

I confronted him about everything and of course the lies start but then he eventually comes clean. I wanted him to get his things and move out. I know I can take care of my boys and I with or without him. He says it’s because he wanted the attention and he wished I was more confident. He say that he loves me and our boys and wants us to start over and things will be better and what not.

We’re a week in and I can tell he’s trying but I feel so damaged and broken. I don’t know whether or not to forgive and stay together or not. Will is be worth it? I love him with everything in my soul but I don’t want it to happen again. Anyone with the same situation or advice will help. Thanks!

I don’t want to look stupid for staying but at the same time I still love him.
