Breastfeeding and hormones

So i consider myself a 'no bullshit straight forward ,fairly emotional and mostly practical career woman'.obviously there are days when i feel more practical and days when i feel more emotional.

This is my first baby and I have been married for 4 years and I'm 34 years old.

Since giving birth and starting exclusive breast feeding, I have constantly started feeling extremely empathetic and emotional as well(not a roller coaster way). For instance a facebook post on some baby with a disease will make me cry.some instagram reel about a couple facing some challenges in life will make me feel very very sorry for them and i might shed a tear.i mean these are the posts that i would previously see and then forget about it.

Otherwise apart from this new found empathy ,i feel normal and don't feel sad or have mood swings.

Wanted to know if this is normal or if anyone has a similar experience as me?

If it feels like a switch has been turned 'ON' and this does not feel like old me.will it go away?
