What is wrong w my tonsils?

Recently spent a mini vacation with my boyfriend and while with him he was sick and of course I got it too.

As my symptoms of runny stuffy nose went away, I did notice I had a yeast infection so I assumed I had oral thrush too because it had happened before.

Now I’ve been catering to the yeast infection (plain probiotic yogurt, no sugar, coconut and tea tree oil, saltwater rinses with garlic and Turmeric) but the more I look at my tonsils i realize it’s not really progressing the way I thought it would.

Now I’m thinking my yeast infection was just from sex and my tonsils are messed up because of something from being sick. Anyone familiar with what this could be?
