Ultrasound while having herpes outbreak?

I’m 8 weeks pregnant and have my first ultrasound next Friday but I woke up today and I’m 99% sure I’m having an outbreak. I’m gonna get medicine but if it does not go away by next Friday will they still do a ultrasound? I  am assuming they are gonna do a transvaginal ultrasound? Is it safe to do so? Just my luck this happens before my ultrasound 😞

I my first ultrasound at 8.weeks with my 1st baby and they just did the abdominal ultrasound. Same with this pregnancy i was 8 weeks and 6 days for my 1st ultrasound. I think you will be fine :) as if you have never had an internal ultrasound they use a condom that covers the entire wand. If you worried I suggest calling whoever is providing care for your pregnancy and im sure they will let you know if your ultrasound will still be a go or not

You dont have to do an transvaginal U/S. Ive always declined it, because I just dont like them. They can see baby pretty well with only the abdominal one.
