Pumping advice needed!

Hi! Looking for a bit of advice. I've just bought a pump and would like to start trying to give my 3 week old one bottle a day, however I'm really not sure when i should try and pump. Baby sometimes only goes an hour between feeds and doesn't sleep for long stints yet. Thanks x
