Vagina hurts when have sex

I turned 30 in march. And me and my ex now before we broke up had sex. And hurt and still hurts even when i had sex with someone else... it hurts but hurts far inside. I was tested i will be going for a physical as well hopefully soon. To see. What do you think it could be?.. A guy i had sex with stuck it in was fine until he got more in and just hurt put me in tears. After going at it and it just goes away no hurting once. He keeps going and get passed the pain. Any advice?
