I am 6w4d I heard heart beat and saw baby at 6w. Why are these not getting any darker. Does that mean my hcg is low. Someone have the same experience?

My doctor just keeps telling me a positive is a positive there is to many other factors going.on for there to.be consistant line.progression.so.as.long as the line.is there not.to worry xx

Your test look fine. The sticks are dye stealers. At a certain point they won’t get any darker.

Hpt can’t tell you anything after 5w. The hook effect will start as hcg gets too high for these test to read properly.

It’s at the darkest that’s why. I took one test when I was 12 weeks to see if I get the Hook effect as a experiment and it does! My positive line was less pigmented. My baby is healthy so far and I am 18 weeks now. So don’t panic if your lines turns fainter because whenever you get High hcg levels those tests can’t take it
