First period post partum… differences?

I’m currently 4 weeks postpartum and I haven’t been bleeding since about week 2. I have started bleeding again but I am assuming it is my period returning?? I didn’t have any of my normal period symptoms, but I assume it’s because my body is still regulating itself. Did anyone notice anything off about their bleeding? Or anything off/different in general?

I’ve noticed that the blood is towards the front of my underwear? Almost so far forward it completely misses my pad. When I was freshly postpartum this happened, but I had a graze on my labia so I was assuming the bleeding at the top of my pad was from that, but now that my period is back I don’t know why I’m bleeding “up” my underwear/pad. Did this happen to anyone else? Or did anyone experience a difference in their periods?
