Am I wrong for feeling some type of way?

A girl at my boyfriends job approached him when he first started (3 months ago) about how she thought he was attractive, wanted to get to know him, and asked if he had a girlfriend.. He said thank you, and yes he had a girlfriend. COOL, good so far. 👍🏻 He goes to the gym every day after getting off work. ****But today, he came home talking about how his friend (a guy) and him were working out, and the girl came along to work out with them!!!!*** they all three work together.. I told him I felt disrespected, and he got an attitude with me saying “are you serious, she’s cool people” HELP!!! AM I WRONG?!?!?

I don’t see how this is disrespectful. He wasn’t alone with her, he’s already told her he’s not interested and set boundaries. Do you not trust him? Is he not allowed to have female friends? Sounds like she didn’t know he had a gf and backed off once he clarified, doesn’t mean they can’t be friendly.

Is she not allowed to go to the gym when he's there? I don't understand the problem or why this would be disrespectful to you specifically. He's responsible for setting and maintaining boundaries with people and it seems he's done that. Break up if every interaction with his coworker makes you feel this way.

Well, you are allowed to feel however you feel about it. If you say you feel disrespected he shouldn't ask if you're serious. He should know you're serious and take a different approach to better understand your feelings￼. On the other hand, it really boils down to how much you trust your partner. Although, ideally, he wouldn't be hanging out with a person who is interested in him, there was another person present who may have been associating with her. And that's where trust comes in. But his response to you expressing your feelings about it is what is concerning. Instead of taking your feelings into consideration, he immediately dismissed them and invalidated them. ￼He may have taken that approach because he doesn't want to feel as though he's done something wrong. And that's more important to him than how you are feeling about it. ￼￼

I mean your not wrong for feeling some way since you know she was basically after him, but as long as your boyfriend is putting boundaries and there was someone else there, they werent alone together, then i would try to be calmer about it, try to relax and dont let it get to you, unless they are going alone together then try not to worry about it, or maybe ask your boyfriend if you can join them in there next workout since hes not going alone anyway, i dont think he shpuld get mad about you wanting to join
