Horrible poops on period TMI

Day 1 2 and 3 of my period without fail I have to take the hugest longest poops (I'm talking well over 12 inches long and WIDE)multiple times a day for days it looks like a month of poop saved up and i have to wipe myself like 5,000 times and the morning wipe as soon as I think I'm done it makes me go more. It's a disaster. I'm on the toilet so long it disrupts work and even at home trying to watch my child I literally can't get off the toilet !! My obgyn just shrugs and says it happens. Nobody else I know seals with this , do any of you deal with this ?!
