For any teachers on here, what did you do in your teaching program?

I got accepted into the elementary education program for next fall and I'm just curious on your guys experience in your program and what was student teaching like.

Answer

I am a high school teacher/college professor. I didn’t do the education program. I earned specific degrees and took specific praxis tests. I have 2 master’s and 2 bachelors. I am currently earning my doctorate. I had friends in the education program. Every college is different and will do different things. Some require certain courses that others don’t. I never did student teaching because it was an unpaid full-time job. 
I love both of my careers. It can be stressful and draining at times, but it’s rewarding.
