Should I have the right to feel some type of way

My boyfriend and I made plans to see each other this weekend (long distant relationship). I found out that he won't be able to pay for the hotel room ( I am supposed to pay for food etc). So I asked my mom can he spend the night at the house she was cool with it. I let him know that he could spend the night at my mom's house but then he told me he had to drive his dad's car because his car needed brakes ( his car needed brakes since December). Today I found out he won't be able to drive his dad's car because his dad needs a new tag. Then he told me he didn't think he could come down this weekend because of others situations with his car and money. But he can drive in ice/snowy weather to see his cousin with bad brakes but not 3 hours to come to see me. Am I wrong to feel some type of way about this situation?
