I have a friend thats daughter has a IUD and is very sick all the time and I was hearing that that can happen. What other things are close to that preventable?

I have the arm implant. I spotted for the first 6 months but its been great since. Nexplanon.

Every birth control affects everyone differently. So, just because her daughter hasn’t had a good experience with that particular IUD, doesn’t mean u wouldn’t or couldn’t have a good experience with it. That being said, the Nexplanon arm implant is another highly effective option, in fact, it’s the most effective option available outside of abstinence & sterilization.

We’ve always used condoms plus pulling out just in case 🤷‍♀️. Women don’t have to take hormones or put devices in their body.
