Is this excessive?

Ok so back in 2019 I broke up with my ex who tried to get me pregnant forcefully by attempting rape and when I escaped…he threw a rock at me. He also would also grab my arms really hard and verbally abuse me.

When I left him, I didn’t tell my parents the whole story as I was ashamed. I only shared with my mom the horrible things he would say! i did share with her the time he threw a rock ajming at my head.

around 2021, he came back asking for forgiveness. we kept texting and everything through text seemed to show he changed. after 8 months, i decided to meet up with him. my parents did not know…and my bf was very sweet to me…

i kept doing this for about 3 years then in January 2024 he started verbally abusing me again. i couldnt take the depression anymore and told my mom i was talking to him and had hopes hed change. i only told her i met him with once because she was livid. she told me i had no self respect and she doesnt understand why i would go back. i apologized and told her i did love him and was stupid.

im 30 now, living with parents. (i know its bad)

well i have a job interview tomorrow and she wants to come with me because she thinks ill meet up with him. all my past interviews have been on Fridays. she doesnt believe me. i applied to a hotel and tbey instructed me to go to valet parking and have them take my car so i dont have to pay! i told her jf she comes with me where will she go ?? im embarrassed that they see my mom come with me.

i told her i can send her pictures when im there…i told her if i can leave her at a cpffee shop mean while? she said thats fine! does this seem excessive?? sometimes i want to go to the mall or with friends and i have to show pictures
