Do I complain?

So I’m 20 and have been having struggling with extreme abdominal pain and mood changes so I booked an appointment with a gynecologist. I waited half a year for my appointment and I just went today. I thought the appointment went okey (even tho she was more worried about me not getting pregnant than the pain I was feeling), but when I came home my mom was furious that I had to wait half a year and the gyno didn’t even take any cell samples. I obviously didn’t know she was supposed to, but should I contact the gyno and ask why she didn’t take cell samples? Possibly complain?
