Advice please

I would like some advice on the school I started taking my son to.

He’s 22 months will be 2 in June.

Now when we get to the classroom he starts out swinging either it’s with me or a teacher. He does swing for a few. Once he gets off the swing he goes to the trampoline and jumps like 15 times then gets off. Then he does his words. Then he rolls down the mat. Then he goes down the roller coaster then takes the bus back up it. Then he goes to the stairs. So as I’m telling you everything he does, it doesn’t mean he wants to do it. The kids don’t run the show there, the teachers do. So they don’t want me picking him up or really doing much for him and to let him throw his tantrum and to tell him “your in control of your own body”

They will like almost force him to do the stuff. I mean, I’m not even completely sure this is normal to do? Now if he throws a tantrum we wait until he’s done with his fit then proceed.

He doesn’t want to do anything when and how they say it. He wants to do what he wants when he wants. Just like he does at home. And I won’t lie I still baby him. I just can’t help myself.

However there was one thing that really got to me and that was “do I want to peel an 8 yr old off the floor” and I thought to myself I am raising a boy, like do I really want him to have Peter Pan syndrome??

But like I need to know if this school I speak of is normal for my child? I’ve never had a kid before so I don’t really know. Thanks.
