Stopping acne topical cream

Hi, so back in February 2023 my doctor prescribed me a prescription topical acne cream called adapalene/ benzoyl peroxide as my skin wasn’t bad enough to go on accutane . I only got 1 refill on it which I just finished tonight May 17th 2024. I’m wondering will my skin go back to how it was before I started the cream or will it mostly stay the same as it is now. I don’t mind pimples here and there but before it was really lowering my confidence. I do wash my face with a good cleanser as I did before and I use moisturizer every morning.
