Bradycardia, anyone here diagnosed with it?

up

Hi!

I have always had a relatively low resting HR, between 46 and 52) Since October last year my RHR has slowly gone down to 40-42 with periods of a HR as low as 37. My watch has given me an alarm several times already because I was below 40 for over a couple of minutes.

My GP has made an ECG and besides low, nothing seems off. Blood values are ok, blood pressure is totally fine. If action is needed (I run) my HR goes up.

He told me, as I have done sports at a high level, my heart most likely is just really well trained. Only thing that worries him a bit, is me losing weight since around the same time my RHR started lowering. Lost 11 kg by now, but I had some extra on the hips so I don't complain 🙂 I thought it was because of progesterone, which I started taking in August. According to gp this is highly unlikely. The weight loss should stop, otherwise I have to come back (or when I go even lower in RHR)

My GP is not so worried, but I am a bit🫤 anyone on here with bradycardia who is willing to share their experience? How did you learn you have it? Do you have any side effects?
