Preeclampsia

Jaz

My 1st pregnancy on my due date I went to labor and delivery to get an update on the status of my son and they said I wasn’t dilating they said come back in like 2 days. I went back 2 days later and still wasn’t dilating but had high blood pressure at that point and they kept me and said they would induce me.

I told my current doctor and she said once I turn 12 weeks I need to take baby aspirin everyday throughout my pregnancy to help reduce the chances of preeclampsia since women who had it previously will always get it during every pregnancy moving forward.

I’m big on not taking meds other than prenatal but Is anyone else having to take baby aspirin? Or experienced this with 1 pregnancy and not the other ?
