Thoughts on Paisley?

I love the name and the sound of it, as well as the imagery of the pattern that it invokes in your head. I’m concerned that it is associated with being trashy or redneck. I like the middle names Anna-Rose or Dove. Open to alternative ideas as well. Thanks :)

I live in the south and it’s a very common name here. I wouldn’t call it trashy or redneck, but it’s a “southern” name so it tends to get that stereotype. I don’t love it, I don’t hate it. I definitely prefer Paisley to Paizeleigh, Payslee, Paysleigh, Paeslie etc. using a wild made up spelling would make it trashy to me.

I live in Canada and have never seen the name used but one of my friends in high school was obsessed with it and swore she would use it for her daughter one day. I always thought it was really cute! My only concern would be - is it too cutesy of a name for a grown woman? That would be a matter of YOUR opinion, no one else’s.
It’s definitely not redneck or trashy. As long as you don’t throw a ‘Z’ in there somewhere haha

It’s pretty but I did know a Paisley that was a dog so I’d always think of that but I’m sure other people won’t!
