But I’m wondering has anyone tested at 8dpo and got a bfn but later down the track got a bfp ?

Yes. Negatives until 11 dpo

I had a blood test at 8dpo (i was in the hospital for a gallbladder attack) it was negative. I tested positive 2 days later on a home preg test.
