Is it okay for someone to get mad at me cuz they’re hot at work?

My partner works outside at a farm, but he decided to work there knowing what the job consisted of. Hot weather, cold weather. It’s not justified to treat someone like crap because that person is hot. I don’t understand. Also he’s self employed.

He's allowed to be grumpy because he's hot. What he's not allowed to do is treat you like shit because he's hot. He needs to find a healthy way to cope with it.

What? Like he is being cruel to you and blaming the heat? Thats embarrassing behavior for an adult. My husband works at home now, but he used to do water damage, fire damage, sewage cleanup etc. He would often be in a house with no AC in florida summer in full clothes and hazmat suit and would still call me every day on his way home to talk about his day and ask about mine. Never once treated me poorly even if he had the worst day and waded through hot shit water for hours. Your partner is an asshole.

Mine does construction - specifically drywall sanding and none of those buildings have AC or wind flow in them. He comes home SOAKED in sweat and drywall dust. He would never treat me badly and being hot could never be an excuse. 
I myself am heat intolerant due to my medications and immunosuppressants and I still wouldn’t treat my partner or anyone badly because of it.
