Parting with baby stuff

Stephanie

Hello,

I am having a hard time trying to decide if I should part with some of my old baby items since I’m not sure if we’ll conceive again. Here’s some background, we have children and our youngest is 4. We felt like there was 1 more baby for our family, but other than a chemical pregnancy last year, I haven’t conceived. I’m 40, so I know it’s harder to get pregnant in your 40s. We are okay with our family now, but would be thrilled to welcome another baby as well. I’m tracking ovulation, but we aren’t seeing a fertility specialist or anything like that.

We don’t have a ton of baby items, but I still have some of the bigger ticket items like a baby jogger city select stroller, 4moms rockaroo, Diono car seat, etc. We really don’t have extra space for a bunch of items we won’t be using, so I’m trying to decide if it’s time to part with them, or keep them a bit longer. I figured ladies in this group would understand.

Anyone have any ideas? I thought about saying if I’m not pregnant by the end of the year, then I’ll get rid of them. My youngest would almost by 5 by then. Also, there’s a possibility we could be moving in the next year, so I have that on my mind as well.

Thanks!
