Could my ovulation date be wrong?

I got a peak on 8/7 and assumed I ovulated 8/8. Both apps says my period was due 8/22. I took a test the morning of 8/22 and it was negative. Now it’s 8/24 and no sign of period. Now I’m thinking I must have ovulated later what do you think?

You can have an LH surge and not ovulate. Thats entirely possible.

You can also ovulate up to 2 days after first positive LH test, so it could have happened later than you thought and period could be coming about tomorrow. This happens to me a lot.

Opks just detect a surge in LH. They don’t confirm or determine ovulation day. It’s possible predicted ovulation could be inaccurate. You would need to have been temping (BBT) to confirm.
