Two Christmas' in a row 😭

For the second year in a row, right before Christmas, I have had a miscarriage. Last year it was a missed miscarriage (blighted ovum at 6 weeks) and I waited until I was almost 15 weeks until I finally had a miscarriage about a week before Christmas. I at least had several weeks to come to terms and could prepare myself mentally.

This time I had no warning outside of intuition. I was supposed to be 10 weeks on Christmas Day (tomorrow) but this past Sunday I just knew. My husband said I was just being paranoid because of what happened last year. I wasn't supposed to have my first appointment until 12 weeks but I called yesterday (Monday) morning and they got me in and confirmed my fears. Baby only measured 6 weeks 3 days. Later last night, I miscarried my second precious baby.

There's only a 2% chance of having two in a row. And I've had 3 healthy babies but now lost 2. My doctor doesn't know why and wants to refer me to Fertility. But I didn't have any problem getting pregnant but for some reason now I can't make it through.

TMI & TRIGGER: My amniotic sac came out intact and I can see my precious baby inside. I couldn't bear flushing it and we plan to have a little ceremony after Christmas to help the older kids come to terms with losing a sibling.
