Dating advice
I'm a straight 26F. I have been talking to this guy on Instagram (we met through bumble) and went on 2 dates.
I find him cute, he seems a really great person and he is great at communicating (always texts Good morning/good night, asks me how I am doing/how my day went, always texted me right after the dates telling me he really enjoyed going out and getting to know me).
He works in IT (some days at home, some days in another city closeby), is friends are not in our country so he only stays in touch with them through videochat, he loves animes and is somewhat of a geek. He returned to the gym recently because is mom is sick and he is helping her after his job.
Even though his mom is sick and he has a job he replys to me quickly all the time.
Whereas, even though I work in a nerdy job, I work with tons of people, like to go out (not partying but coffees/dinner) with different friend groups and like to go to the gym. I can only reply once/twice during the daytime since I work with people and barely have time to check my phone.
I'm really independent and since I'm a bit busy I wish he had more friends or other people to make friends with (so I don't feel guilty for having plans with friends/family or even working at a competitive job). I have never been in a relationship so I know that I got used to being way too independent and need to change this a bit.
The thing is: I don't think we have much in common and even though he is cute I really don't feel the chemistry.
Is it normal that I feel this way? Will chemistry potentially grow if I spend more time with him - go on a 3rd date?
PS: I went on dates/talked with other people through bumble and I never felt the connection (even though I felt it some times in real life). He is probably the one I liked the most this far and I know he is a catch but I don't want to lead him on.
