Announcement to children !

How did you announce the arrival of your new baby to your children? 🍼

I’m a little embarrassed to share, but it was so funny hahaha 😅

My eldest is 6 years old and absolutely loves anything to do with science, experiments, and chemistry. 🔬✨

So I thought: what’s chemical about being pregnant? The pregnancy test, of course! 😄

So I told him:

– Guess what? I think I might have a baby in my belly, but I’m not sure!

He looks at me with these huge, wide eyes. 👀

– There’s a machine to check if you have a baby in your belly, and it works with pee! 🚽😂

– You put the machine in the pee, and if a cross shows up, it means there’s a baby in there. Otherwise, there isn’t.

He was so impressed: – Wooooow! 🤯

Then I said:

– Do you want us to go buy the machine? We can get two, so you can try it too!

And of course: – Yesssss!!! 🎉

So off we went to buy two pregnancy tests. Then we each peed in a cup (one at a time in the bathroom, obviously!). 😂

We checked his test first, and I asked:

– So, do you have a baby in your belly?

He looked at me seriously and said: – No.

Then we looked at mine, and he shouted:

– Mommmmm, you have a baby in your belly!!! I’m going to be a big brother!!! 🥰💖

I filmed the whole moment—it was so beautiful! 😭💕
