How to parent with 2 different styles

My fiancée and I are struggling to find the right balance on how to parent our 1st child weather it down to punishment or trying new foods at the table he’s being a bit harsh in his parenting and I’m not and trying to take each of our parents and use it into our parenting style is clashing a lot and he’s getting annoyed about it I think till she’s in that age where she is in that point in her life right now I think it’s nothing to worry about
