How would you feel if you found out your husband's best friend was in love with him

My husband has a best friend of 21 years. They met when they were 4. He committed suicide two days ago but right before he left a note for my husband in our mailbox confessing feelings and that he had been in love with him for as long as he could remember. That he had been gay as long as he can remember. He left a suicide note at the... Scene but it was basically his family wouldn't approve of him and he couldn't live a lie anymore. I know people are going to say that I shouldn't be jealous of someone who is dead but a lot of it is how my husband is acting. I expect him to be distraught but he was pacing around his room saying things like "Wtf Josh. You drop that you're in love with me and just kill yourself! Don't give me anytime to process anything!" And he kicked the bed. Process what exactly? My husband is straight. He wouldn't need to process anything. He would just need to tell him he's not interested. He has a wife and it was disrespectful for him to do that. Am I looking too much into this. My husband also still has the love confession letter and it's making me uncomfortable..
