What would you do???

So I been married for 16 years , husband knows I been wanting a baby for a very long time he agreed he wanted one as well, but about 9 years into marriage he told me he can’t have kids ! He won’t get checked at a clinic or anything, so I decided to just stick it out and see what happens, well, still no baby and he won’t change his mind to get checked either! Then our marriage went down hill in 2020 and continues to get worse, so my question is what should I do?? I will be 45 in April!  thanks in advance

Sounds like you’re out of luck. You waited 16 years. 9 of which you knew he wasn’t able to. 45 isn’t the ideal age to have a baby, and honestly, you don’t know if he’s the one with the issues. I’d move on and accept it at this point.

You’re 45 and only now debating on what to do? He told you 9 years in that he can’t have kids and refused to get checked. That was 7 years ago when you were 38. If you’re debating ending your relationship because you want kids and he refuses to get checked as to why he may be infertile, then you should have done it 7 years ago. Yes, some women can have kids into their 50’s before hitting menopause. But you’re pushing your biological clock hardcore at this point. Leave your relationship if he is a crap person/partner. But in my opinion, you’ve made your choice when it comes to your marriage and kids. If you’re still determined, then tell him you’ll be going to a clinic and getting artificially inseminated by donor sperm since he won’t get checked and you want a baby.

I’m afraid you should have left him when you found out he lied. 45 may be too late. Not a guarantee but there’s a very slim chance in becoming pregnant and keeping a viable pregnancy by the time you would find a partner or a sperm donor to conceive with. I’m really sorry

Um…he’s controlling and acts like a baby when he doesn’t get his way, said he wanted to hand kids but waited until almost a decade to tell you he can’t have kids, won’t go get himself checked out. You leave and never look back.

Starting over and having a biological baby may not be realistic at this point. But that doesnt mean you dont deserve to be happy in your relationship. There are a lot of red flags here. Id highly consider whether this is a man you want to be with for the rest of your life.

First and foremost if your marriage is rocky, I think you need to decide whether or not to even stay with him. Then if he wont cooperate with trsting or fertility treatment, or you decide to split up, your choices are insemination or adoption.

Please leave him. I think it is an unfortunate blessing in disguise you did not have a child with this man. 
Considering your age, I’m unsure if kids are still in the cards for you. I’m not sure why you waited for something to change… that’s a long time to know he cannot have children. 
You could adopt?

If you're wanting a baby, obviously it's not going to happen with him. At your age, it may not happen anyways.
