Thyroid medication on an empty stomach

Anyone taking thyroid medication have a hard time taking it on an empty stomach during pregnancy? I usually wake up at 6am to take it but lately I’ve been waking up around 4-5 with morning sickness as I’m 7 weeks pregnant. And I figured I’d take it early so I can have a snack to settle my stomach a half an hour after taking it. But immediately after taking it on an empty stomach my stomach is in knots and I feel like I have to vomit or go to the bathroom.

Anyone experience something similar, any ideas ?
