How should i deal with my boyfriends mom

So my boyfriend’s side of the family is a tricky situation, his parents have something against him, dont know why, but his mom hates me on top of it too. Now, me and my boyfriend live a couple states away from his parents, they’ve seen her when she was born, but keep asking us to come visit them. Our daughter is almost 3 months old and i feel like shes a bit too young to do a road trip but his mom keeps asking for us to visit, she just wont take no for an answer. My boyfriend suggested she come to us but thats out of the question because it’s not fair that *she* has to make the trip. Im honestly clueless on how to approach this and im hoping for a little advice or even just hearing how you guys deal with your in laws/other side of the family
