how can i stop myself from getting too anxious?
I have tremendous anxious attachment and abandonment issues. I just got into a new relationship about a month ago. We just had our one month anniversary yesterday of officially dating. everything is going well so far, but I tend to overthink and over analyze a lot of things. He’s very nonchalant, and isn’t a good communicator through text. and I’ve had to have discussions about it because I would get nervous because I wouldn’t hear from him for a long long time. He says that’s normal for him, and that I shouldn’t really worry about it. These past few days I haven’t been getting much of anything. We were supposed to hang out for the past two days after his shift at work, but he would never answer and I’m assuming it’s because he worked late, but would never update me on if we were going to hang or not. I got him a gift and everything because of our one month yesterday and I was planning on giving it to him. I haven’t heard from him since yesterday at 9 pm. i’m beginning to worry and i know i really shouldn’t because he’s working. idk what to do. (and yes im in therapy and have been in psychiatric care. so pls don’t suggest me seeking professional help lmfao)
