Recurrent miscarriage work up

I had a missed miscarriage in February of 2021 with a D&C at 10 weeks, then a healthy live birth in February of 2022 and we thought that it was just bad luck the first time around and miscarriages are common. Well now we’re trying for baby number 2 and have just had our second miscarriage, unclear what to call it as my levels stayed pretty low but 2 weeks since they’ve decreased and we learned the pregnancy wasn’t viable and I still haven’t bled on my own. My midwife said that while it can be bad luck 2 miscarriages warrants testing. Can anyone share what tests were done for their work up and if it found anything? Or just share your story of a healthy baby after having had 2 miscarriages. This mama is really struggling thinking I just got lucky with my son and will never experience pregnancy and a healthy baby again.
