How soon have you gone into labor after losing your mucus plug?

How soon have you gone into labor after losing your mucus plug? Please comment your experiences.. I’m not sure if I should go to labor & delivery just yet, I’ve been having what feels like Braxton Hicks contractions for about 2 days(not hurting-just uncomfortable) & woke up this morning to my mucus plug dislodging.

You can lose it a week before, it isn't really a labour symptom. I lost mine several days before and they still had to induce me. If you are unsure if you shouldngo in, call you L&D triage and they will give you advice :)

Did your doctor give you a list of symptoms to go by before heading in? Labor obviously usually takes a long time, so unless there's a prior issue, you're better off laboring off for the early stages at home. My doctor told me to come in if my water broke, if my contractions were becoming frequent (every ten minutes or so) or if I was starting to really be in pain. Just call your doctor or L&D and ask!
