How do you deal with sickness and work?

How do working parents deal with sicknesses and jobs? I’m allowed 10 unpaid sick days, before I get in shit, which before kids was fine. Now with kids it’s awful.
It’s March and I’ve already had to use 7, weve been struck with the flu twice, HFM, and horrible colds. And this is only daycare not even school yet. 
It makes me feel ill and gives me so much anxiety having to call in because I’m scared I’ll lose my job (I am in a union) but I have no one to watch my kids, not only that, half the time I’m sicker then they are. 
How do all you parents deal with this?

I go to work sick as well. Last years Covid bs killed us because the kids had to be out for so long and work didn’t give us any time for that. It honestly sucks.

I work sick. Last week I had to work a 12 hour day with a stomach bug. And if my son is sick and can’t go to daycare and my parents aren’t off work either my husband has to be the one to call in because his boss is way more lenient than mine. I only get 5 call ins before I get written up

I go to work sick. I’m an educator in public school and higher education. We don’t really have substitutes and it’s just easier to go to work sick. My sick days and vacation days just roll over and build up. My child has rarely became sick. He’s more of a carrier of illness 😂
