To all my single mamas
I’ve been a single mom since before my daughter was a year old. She’s now 3 and I still don’t feel like I have it figured out. We have zero contact with her father so he is no help. Between work, housework, and cooking, I feel like I just don’t have enough time to spend with her. I make sure we get at least 30 minutes of uninterrupted us time in the evenings before bed, but I just don’t feel like that’s enough. How do you balance it all? On the weekends, it gives us more time. I take her places, we play games. But I’m so exhausted and stressed about the upcoming week that while I’m there with her, I just don’t feel present. I feel like I’m failing and I don’t know how to fix it.
