Hi everyone,

I need advice. I got married 6 months ago and my parents are letting us stay in their house living rent free. It’s only my husband and I living in my parents house, my parent live in another house.

However, the house needs work and the shower and plumbing needed to be replaced. We renovated it but I was the one that paid the 3k for renovations and the same week our fridge broke so we had to get a new one and again I was the only one who paid for it. Am I wrong to think that my husband should help me with half since we have been living rent free for 8 months?

I’m starting to think I’m better off alone and all of this financial stress is taking a toll on my relationship.

What do y’all think? Who is right in this situation?
