Should I be upset at my fiancé ?

My fiancé and I are in a work “road trip" in Hungary where he is from. We live in Puerto Rico and need to plan to go back. I had mentioned I may want to fly earlier, but we didn’t discuss the topic. Today his assistance (female, about my age, not bad looking) tells me she bought tickets back for him and her and asks if I’ll be flying as well. 
I got annoyed at the question and forwarded the message to him. His reply was “you mentioned you wanted to go earlier, the tickets were getting expensive so I told her to book. It doesn’t mean we are taking it, we can change it. It was a thing about price” he also says he “doesn’t see the problem”, but I feel if anyone should have a ticket together is me and him, ok if the assistant buys them, but I should be part of the discussion and not be asked by her if I’m joining THEM.
I felt like the assistant and not the fiancé, even made a comment if he wasn’t me to give the ring to her… 
Am I over reacting?

I’d be annoyed he was talking to me through his assistant. He should’ve been the one to ask you about the flights and he should at the very least be interested in when you’re flying back. He should’ve reached out to you to ask if you booked a flight, when you’re flying back, and should be considering that when booking his and discussing his flight timeline with you not sending his assistant to do it.

You already mentioned you wanted to fly back sooner. Also, it’s a WORK TRIP and it makes sense on why they would fly back TOGETHER.

She asked you if you would be flying as well to know if she needed to buy another ticket after you mentioned maybe leaving earlier. It's clear you don't trust your husband with her and making a big deal out of nothing. You're looking for an argument.

It's normal for an assistant to coordinate the travel arrangements for a business trip, and if the 2 of them are flying the same flight, what she said makes sense to me eg does she need to book another ticket for you, put you to sit together etc as part of her job in arranging the travels. It doesnt mean youre joining the 2 of them as a unit, it means the 2 of them are on the same flight so are you joining the flight too or flying separately. Logical. Like if she was a 60 year old lady I wouldnt think a thing of it. If the fact that shes young and good looking is difficult for you, I can certainly empathize, or if theres a history of them being overly friendly or him putting more emphasis on work than home then I think this could be a red flag. But this in and of itself doesnt concern me eg indicate an affair or what not. Your husband should run things by you but honestly men dont always think of these subtle social nuances unless you tell them it bothers you.

I think before she bought the 2 of them tickets she (actually both of them) should have checked with you to see when exactly you were planning on flying home, instead of coming to you after. It definitely feels like you were an afterthought and I would be bothered too.

Just because you mentioned it, doesn't mean it's set in stone. I think he should've confirmed with you before buying tickets. I would be annoyed that he's communicating with you about this through his assistant. I think being annoyed is an appropriate emotion for this. Not an overreaction.  I do not, however, think it is appropriate to be jealous that he may fly back with his assistant. The way you said, "if anyone should have a ticket ￼ together, it should be me and him" sounds very jealous. But you were willing to fly home alone and how did you think they would be traveling if you did that?

I don’t think that you should be mad, though I see getting annoyed bc I’m petty too hahaha. 
Basically, you told your husband you may want to go earlier. He communicated that w his assistant. She, who is paid solely to maintain his and her schedule, probably planned for what he told her and trusted that should something come up in his personal life, something she is not involved in, he would update her and she would adjust accordingly. 
Just because she got flights for them together doesn’t mean they’re even next to each other and  I doubt she was concerned about that. But admin support isn’t required to innately know or infer about someone’s home life, they do as they’re told/expected to keep professional processes moving forward. I get having a husband who worked closely to another woman may put you on edge, but I don’t see anything innately appropriate about the situation.
