Baby fell off the bed

Question

My baby is 7 months and fell off the bed tonight. He fell off on his legs and tummy and doesn’t have any red marks, bumps or bruises. He seems normal now that I comforted him but I can tell he’s sleepy. Can he go to sleep?

Don’t feel too bad mumma. Its actually pretty common for a baby to have fallen off the bed once in their lives. It’s happened to my babies. I was in the same room as them. My doctor told me if bub falls from a twice twice their size they must go to the ER. 
If bub didn’t hit his head, he will be fine. Just monitor for any bruising or change of behaviour.

Every baby yeets themselves off the bed or couch at some point. 98% of the time they're startled but fine. My 7mo (baby #3) decided today was also her day to join that club and roll off the couch. 
Kids are guaranteed to do this, get their head hit on the car or a wall/door while being carried, and eat something unidentifiable at some point in their first year. If you make it 3 years without a bump/goose egg on their head or any urgent care/ER trips, you're in the minority lol They're resilient little boogers.

You need to go to the ER if your baby fell off the bed!!! Baby’s should never ever be unattended on a bed for any amount of time. You are very lucky this didn’t turn out much worse.
