Screaming crying child

Please help me parent. I hope there is some way through this.

My daughter is 4 and she is going through a phase (it’s been about 4-5 months of this) where every little thing upsets her and she goes into a loud hollering scream. I mean nails on a chalk board kind of a noise, and there is NO way of getting her to calm down.

I always try to talk through our tough feelings but she won’t talk. She just screams/cries. I know this can often be an attention seeking behavior so I let her know that she has my attention and I am here to help, but she doesn’t want help, she just wants to scream. So after about 10min of trying to get her to feel safe enough to calm down, and she doesn’t, she stone walls me, I let her know that when she is ready to talk she can come get me but for right now I need to step away to let her calm herself. She still screams. She will follow me around screaming (and I then ignore the behavior) or if I get really over stimulated I will tell her to let her feelings out in her room. There have been times I have even had to pick her up off the ground and bring her to her room so I can get some silence. These screaming crying fits last an HOUR!!!!! AN HOUR!!!!!!!! If I try talking to her, she screams for an hour. If I ignore the screams, they last an hour. I am losing my shit.
