How soon is too soon to move around after giving birth

After I leave the hospital, I immediately have to go back to my regular routine. My main concern is taking the kids to school every morning after, in the mornings, sometimes the weather is cold, sometimes is warm…will that effect my healing process or me possibly getting sick. School is out for the summer in three weeks so I wouldn’t have to do for too long. Also how soon is too soon for baby to be taken out (to take them to school and back home) & no i don’t have anyone to do it for me so I don’t have a choice. Just want to know the risks if any.
