Tips for a natural delivery?

It’s still a long way off, but I am really hoping to attempt a natural delivery. My first child was induced at 36 weeks and there were complications that ended in a c section. I was really unprepared and didn’t know my rights and options. I felt absolutely robbed of a beautiful birth experience. That was almost 10 years ago, and I really want to attempt a natural VBAC. I’m obviously very intimidated by the idea, but people have been doing it for thousands of years! I’m not opposed to *neccessary/minimal* medical interventions but would really love to do this on my own. Does anyone have any tips for a successful labor/delivery?

I know this may sound dumb, but … I really wanted to prove to my husband that I could give birth naturally, because he just told me to get the epidural. My first baby 9 years prior I got induced and got the epidural. ( the epidural isn’t bad just made my pelvis ache because I couldn’t move so the pressure was irritating, not nearly as painful as actual labor pains from induction though.. ) I got induced this time aswell, didn’t feel pain with contractions until 15 mins after they broke my water (excruciating pain) I was at a 22 on pitocin. I honestly do not think anything can prepare you for that type of pain. I would most likely suggest getting a doula because they can help with counter pressure and guiding you to breath, but honestly in the moment you feel like your gunna die. Not trying to scare you, also I’ve heard being induced causes the pain to be 100000 times worse cause contractions overlap and last way longer. Your body will force you to push, it’s almost like when you have a really bad stomach ache and your stomach cramps up while your having diarrhea and your body is pushing, if that makes sense lol 
Your definitely more than cárpanle of doing it. My whole point was to make sure you have your “why”, because I wanted to give up so bad but I also didn’t want to look like I wimped out and went back on something I said I was going to do. When your about to give up it’s apart to the point we’re you going to be posting any second now. It does pretty fast. Mine was 2 hours from when they broke my water to delivery(:

Hire a doula. Find a care provider who has a high rate of successful VBACs. Take a class on physiological birth (like Hypnobirthing)

Breathe and try not to become tense. The more you fight it the more it hurts. Just remind yourself that your body knows what it's doing. Be mindful of your pain tolerance for example, if you have a low tolerance, get some extra support. Remember it's going to be intense but it doesn't have to be torturous.  Allow your body and your baby to do their jobs and your job is to take the wheel and be captain. Move how you feel you should. Make noises how you feel you should. Do whatever you feel you should just don't let fear take control. Fear is choas.
